About me
My relationship with psychology began at a young age, rooted in my own journey of self-exploration and healing. Through both challenges and achievements, I’ve gained insights that continue to shape not only who I am, but how I work as a therapist. My training and professional experience allow me to bring these learnings into my own therapeutic style, supporting others on their own path toward understanding, growth, and healing.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a Master’s degree in Psychology from the International Psychoanalytic University in Berlin. In addition to my academic training, I have completed qualifications in psychosocial counselling, art therapy, and Yoga Teacher Training. My yoga training has deepened my understanding of the mind–body connection and allows me to integrate practices such as breathwork, grounding, and mindfulness into therapy when appropriate.
I was born in Germany, raised in Malaysia, and studied in both London and Berlin. Living between cultures and calling different places home has deeply shaped my worldview and my work. I understand firsthand the emotional complexities of migration, identity, belonging, and starting over in a new country. As a result, I approach my work with strong cultural sensitivity, recognising that mental health challenges can present differently depending on cultural, social, and personal context. I believe it is essential to consider both internal experiences and external influences when working therapeutically.
I opened my own private practice in Berlin in 2022 and have since worked with clients from a wide range of backgrounds and life situations. Alongside this, my professional experience includes clinical and hospital-based work, humanitarian and psychosocial support. Today, I work with clients from all over the world through online therapy. I bring a warm, thoughtful, and grounded approach, drawing on evidence-based psychology while also integrating body-based and mindfulness practices where they feel supportive. Above all, my aim is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel understood, respected, and accompanied as you move toward meaningful and lasting change.
