The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change

Carl Rogers

My private practice in Berlin moved fully online following the COVID-19 pandemic, and I have continued working this way due to the flexibility, accessibility, and depth it offers. Online therapy allows you to engage in meaningful therapeutic work from a space that feels familiar, private, and comfortable to you.

Sessions take place securely online, eliminating the stress of commuting or rushing, and making therapy easier to integrate into daily life. Research has shown that online therapy can be just as effective as in-person therapy for many people, while offering greater ease and consistency.

That said, online therapy is not suitable for everyone. Certain conditions require in-person support, and this is always considered carefully and ethically.

My Therapeutic Approach

Everyone carries a story — sometimes spoken, sometimes held quietly inside. Therapy offers a space where your experiences can be met with care, curiosity, and compassion. Each person remains the author of their own life, even during times when that sense of agency feels distant or lost.

Through self-reflection, self-compassion, and non-judgmental awareness, therapy can help you reconnect with your inner voice and reshape narratives that no longer serve you. You don’t need clarity before you begin — change can start at any point. My role is to offer presence, perspective, and support, bearing witness to your process as you explore, understand, and move forward at your own pace.

My work is informed by several therapeutic approaches, which are woven together thoughtfully and flexibly, depending on what feels most supportive for you.

A central part of my work is grounded in psychodynamic therapy, which explores how early experiences and unconscious patterns continue to shape our thoughts, emotions, and relationships in the present. For many people, especially those who have felt misunderstood or “too much” at different points in life, gaining this context can bring clarity, relief, and self-compassion.

Alongside this, I place strong emphasis on working in the present moment. Mindfulness-based approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), support awareness of what is happening here and now, particularly during moments of overwhelm, emotional intensity, or mental noise. This work supports agency — helping you reconnect with choice, direction, and what matters most to you.

A humanistic, person-centred approach underpins the therapeutic relationship itself. I work from the belief that each person has an innate capacity for growth, creativity, and self-direction. Therapy offers a respectful, non-judgmental space where you don’t need to mask, perform, or fit into expectations, and where all parts of you are welcome.

Elements of cognitive and behavioural work (CBT) may also be included when practical tools are helpful. This can support noticing unhelpful patterns, developing structure where needed, and finding ways of responding that feel more supportive and sustainable in everyday life.

Because every individual is different, therapy is never one-size-fits-all. The approach is shaped collaboratively, responding to your unique history, needs, and goals. I offer a steady, supportive space where you can explore your past, present, and future selves, and move toward change with understanding, care, and co-creation.
